Women's Health
We specialise in women’s health nutrition, having helped thousands of women regain control of their hormones, migraines, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and various skin conditions.
About
We tend to see hormone imbalances a lot at the clinic and conditions such as as amenorrhoea or dysmenorrhoea are common. There are many reasons why women may be suffering from painful periods or irregular periods, but some of the most common causes often boil down to detoxification that is suboptimal.
This subject is pretty broad as detoxification is very much influenced by synthetic oestrogens in the environment such as xenoestrogens often found in cosmetics and plastics. Hormone imbalances are very well regulated with dietary, supplemental and herbal medicine interventions. We also use the well-known Dutch Test to assess hormones, both sex hormones and adrenal hormones, in individuals.

Women's Health
Throughout life women will encounter various physical and emotional changes during which the body’s requirements for nutrition will shift in order to cope with their continuing developments. It’s important to take this into account when caring for women of different ages. To help you stay healthy and promote wellness we will ask you to fill out a comprehensive intake that assesses your nutritional status, physical activity, use of supplements and medications, and spiritual life. We put all of this information together with your medical history to make personalised recommendations that fit your individual lifestyle and help you stay healthy. Although good dietary and lifestyle practices are important throughout all stages of life, there are certain periods where it carries more importance.
We use a truly integrated approach where members of our multidisciplinary team meet regularly to discuss their approach to each individual and to ensure everybody in the team is united behind you.
We specialise in:
- PCOS, (polycystic ovarian syndrome)
