Last year when we first came to see you I was regularly falling asleep during the day, sticking with a diet that included carbs in the form of veg only – potatoes in particular gave me vertigo; my stomach was distended most of the time, and if I didn’t keep strictly to my diet it would instantly bloat to the point of looking very pregnant; I always felt uncomfortable and had little or no appetite; my body temperature was constantly low and my blood pressure was creeping up; I would get both night sweats and hot flushes in the afternoons and sometimes at other times, too. I regularly had arthritic pain and swelling in my fingers and knees, would get seriously swollen ankles if I jogged, lost 4 or 5 days a month to migraines, couldn’t tolerate alcohol, couldn’t read a book, and had mood swings and bouts of anxiety that would keep me awake at night.
Just to say that I don’t fall asleep in the daytime any more, have been able to add potatoes, gf oats and good gf bread into my diet, which has not only not made my stomach bloat, but has made me feel much better in myself, including restoring my appetite, raising my body temperature from the 34s and 35s to the 36s and sometimes even 37. I hardly ever get night sweats – or afternoon ones – anymore. My blood pressure has also returned to the low normal readings I used to have. I don’t really get arthritic pain or swelling in my fingers anymore and have just started back on the treadmill at the gym with no issues so far. while I still have odd bouts of arthritic pain at times, I no longer get arthritis and swelling in my fingers, which worried me the most Other than getting a migraine after my recent cold and sinus infection, these have been a thing of the past and I can have the odd glass of wine without worrying.
Whether it is the change of diet, PEMF mat or both, my stomach has pretty much stopped bloating altogether now, I have been feeling far more comfortable and don’t even take digestive enzymes anymore. I have read 3 books in the last few weeks. For quite a while my mood had completely lifted and anxiety disappeared.
