Speak to a Nutritionist Online
Is it a good idea to see a nutritionist online?
We know that finding time to attend appointments can be tricky with a busy lifestyle, but when working with a nutritionist online, distance need not be a problem. We work with clients throughout the UK and internationally, meaning you can receive expert nutrition guidance in just one click from the comfort of your own home.
As a clinic we have built a solid reputation for ‘treating the untreatable’ and often see clients with complex, chronic health conditions such as lyme disease and chronic fatigue syndrome, who may have limited mobility and/or lowered immunity. For these clients, working with one of our online nutritionists is a much more desirable option.
Online consultations really are suitable for anyone. Speak with a member of the team to find out how you can schedule your online nutrition consultation today.
What happens when you see a nutritionist online?
We are set-up to work online in an efficient and effective way, offering you a similar experience to an in-person appointment – the only difference being that your appointment will be via a secure online video consulting room, instead of face-to-face consulting room.
All online nutritionist consultations are carried out via a secure video connection – or telephone if you prefer – and everything will be set-up for you in advance. All you need to do is follow the secure video link at the time of your scheduled appointment to be automatically connected to the call. It really is as simple as a one single click.
A nutrition consultation with us is an engaging and positive experience. Your practitioner will ensure you are made to feel comfortable discussing your health concerns and together you will jointly agree upon a bespoke therapeutic approach.
Combining our experience and expertise with your efforts will ensure that you are in the best possible position to achieve your health goals – an appointment with us is a collaborative process.

How do I prepare for a nutritionist appointment online?
After arranging your initial consultation, you will be emailed a detailed health questionnaire and food diary to complete and return ahead of your appointment. We will also invite you to send a copy of any health test results you’ve received in the last 3 months.
Once we have received this, nothing further is required from you and we will finish preparations for your appointment:
The administration team – will ensure your questionnaire is stored securely in your client record and that you and your nutritionist have all the information required for the session.
Your nutritionist – will spend approximately 2 hours taking a close look at your health history, researching your case and putting together the foundation of your online consultation.
What questions do nutritionists ask online?
If you have attended a nutritionist or dietician appointment previously, you may already have an idea of what to expect.
At the London Clinic of Nutrition we take an integrative approach to your health and all of our nutritionists work under the Functional Medicine principles. This means we go upstream to uncover the reasons behind your symptoms rather than just treating or suppressing those symptoms.
Your nutritionist will talk with you about your health concerns and assess your current dietary and lifestyle habits. They will ask you detailed questions about your health history, family history and all of the different systems of the body and explain how these are connected.
This is what we call the ‘information-gathering’ stage, where your nutritionist will gather as much information as possible about your case to ensure your protocol is tailored exactly to your needs.
Following your consultation you will receive your personalised protocol within 3 working days which will include:
- Nutrition and dietary advice
- Lifestyle modifications
- Testing recommendations
- Herbal and/or supplement schedule
- Supporting resources
How often should you see a nutritionist online?
Each person is individual and the amount of appointments required depends on many different factors.
As a general rule of thumb we recommend that most people will need at least two follow up appointments after their initial consultation. The first follow up is normally 45 minutes and any appointments thereafter will be 30 minutes. These are spaced approximately 5-7 weeks apart for the best results.
In cases of complex health conditions, it is important to understand that we will need regular contact with you over a longer period of time.
Working together over time means we can achieve fantastic results. We are proud to have over 160 five star online nutritionist reviews on Google and testimonials which confirm just that.
How do I contact a nutritionist?
We have a large team of registered nutritionists, all of whom specialise in different areas of health and nutrition.
Please get in touch where you can talk to a member of the team about your health concerns and they will best match you with one of our online nutritionists.
You can also schedule a complimentary discovery call to secure a time in your calendar to speak with us.
