Honey and Nut Granola
Our tasty granola recipe offers a gluten free option for those looking for a healthy start to their day. It’s perfect as a snack with a drizzle of yogurt, enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups jumbo oats
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/3 cup maple syrup or coconut nectar
- pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp good quality vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup coconut chips
METHOD
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl and then lay on baking sheet in oven and cook at 180 degrees for 25 mins turning every 5 minutes or so till golden brown.
- Once cooled add raisins and coconut chips.
