Alina
Alina Tierney is a highly experienced practitioner with over 13 years of clinical practice.
Her approach is rooted in Functional Medicine, a holistic systems biology perspective that emphasises identifying and addressing the root causes of disease. Her comprehensive approach goes beyond just dietary considerations and encompasses lifestyle factors and overall well-being. This enables her to create personalised programs that cater to each client’s unique needs, empowering them to achieve their optimum level of wellness.
She has received training in Functional Medicine with the Kharrazian Institute and the Institute of Functional Medicine. Additionally, Alina holds an MSc in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the University of Reading and a BSc in Nutritional Therapy from the University of Westminster.
Her main areas of expertise include immune dysregulation, gut health, metabolic imbalances, mental health and women’s health. Alina’s has a special focus in women’s health and hormones (PCOS, endometriosis, supporting fertility, and stubborn urinary tract infections )
